I've found myself exploring different hot sauces lately and ended up down a bit of a Tabasco rabbit hole. The Chipotle version has quickly become a favorite of mine; it's smoky and flavorful without being overly fiery, making it perfect for everything from breakfast to dinner.

That got me curious about what others are reaching for on a daily basis. I'm talking about the everyday hot sauce that lives in your fridge or takes center stage on the dinner table—the one you reach for automatically, whether it's for tacos, a drizzle on eggs, or even just spicing up some leftovers.

Do you have a trusty bottle like Texas Pete, Cholula, or maybe something unique that I should know about? I'm looking for those reliable sauces that pack in flavor without leaving you feeling scorched. What's your go-to, and what do you love putting it on?

McIlhenny Tabasco is always a reliable kick, but lately I am enjoying Nando's Peri-Peri sauce. The medium leaves you still able to taste the rest of the meal. ;-). Another favorite is Old Bay hot sauce. Killer on seafood, like sardines. Yum.

I love Tabasco and I use it often. I have a local guy in Altamont that makes great hot sauce. There is a chef in S. Carolina, Wickies wicked hot sauce from Kiss Cafe that makes outstanding hot sauce which may be purchased online. Just Google it. They have great service. He has gotten very big and of course you will get it thru Amazon. I will have to try Old Bay hot sauce.

I like tend to favor siracha as my go to hot sauce, as well as my own home made hot sauce. I grow Jalapeños, Serranos and hot cherry peppers to make my own hot sauce.

Don't have one. Not a fan. The little woman loves mule sauce made by Sticker Mule in Amsterdam. She orders it by the case and puts it on way too much stuff.
