I miss when hunting tags were simpler, using paper maps and learning from older hunters face-to-face instead of online. Things felt more relaxed and less crowded back then even if we didn't know as much.
 
I also miss the slower pace, planning hunts with paper maps and local advice had a charm you just don’t get scrolling online.

can you explain the " less crowded back then"?...the woods are almost empty of hunters nowadays.....where I am now, Im told from some of the locals how the road by state land was lined with cars and trucks of people hunting, now the roads are empty of any vehicles...noone in the woods to push the deer...im curious as to what you meant by the crowded comment..
