Tried to find in NYC and Nassau Cty of Long Island anyone for serious repair of Walter PP 7.65 mm. None, nil. Sent to Va WALTHER-Earl's factory - excellent quality repair in 1 day. Sending pistol by mail from NYC via an FFL store is "fun" and costly.

I hear ya, man. A solid gunsmith makes all the difference. What kinda work you need done, basic repairs, trigger jobs, or full custom builds? Knowing that helps folks point you toward the right recommendation

Ahem... New York's tough. If you're upstate, find an old-timer who knows triggers and bedding, not just AR parts, you can ask around at local shoots, word-of-mouth is gold
