Looking to hunt for turkey in the Catskills

Yes, plenty of 20-pound toms come out of that region every spring. Stick to ridges at first light, listen for gobbles, then set up near open fields where hens feed. I shot a 22-pounder near Phoenicia a few years back, so it's definitely possible.

Looking to hunt for turkey in the Catskills next spring. Any chance to get at least a 20-pound one?
It's possible, though turkeys that heavy are rare in the Catskills. Most gobblers range 12–18 pounds. Focus on good calls, scouting early, and hunting over known feeding areas for the best shot
