Trigger upgrades

I'm checking out trigger upgrades that are okay with New York's rules. I want a lighter, crisper trigger pull but nothing that messes with how the gun works or makes it illegal here. Anyone try any factory or drop-in kits? What about getting a gunsmith to install it and deal with the paperwork?

Assuming this is related to a semi auto, a lighter trigger pull isn't illegal.

I don’t know. There’s a lot of threads and questions on this forum that are suspect. Even some from an “administrator “. People asking about what’s legal in NY , including driving through NY with a gun. Presumably you’re a NY resident???????
Almost seems like questions are a fishing expedition to get someone to say something wrong.
