Game Warden Encounters and Stories

I once had a game warden come up while I was fishing. He was super chill and just wanted to check my license. What about you guys? Any funny or interesting stories?

I live five doors down (one mile) from one of our local game wardens. He's a great guy and part of our local get togethers. Mixes a killer Manhattan.

I work with several of them as a DEC Instructor. The main guy I work with is one of the best people I know. He loves working with kids and new hunters. He also coordinates a Special Needs Kids Fishing Derby with me every year. Just a 100% good guy.

I got stories but you don't have the time !!! Good stories . Game wardens chased me for better part of 40 yrs. Never once wrote me a ticket . They finally gave up about 5 yrs ago. I retired 3 of them and the new kid on the block through the old watch list out and started his own . It was a real fun 40 years though coon hunting deer hunting fishing I always had a shadow . I always new if I was in trouble help was close by lol !!!!
