Best 9mm Carry Ammo Recommendations

I'm fairly new to concealed carry and have been looking into 9mm ammo for self-defense. What hollow point rounds do you all trust? Reliability is key for me, so I want to hear from those with real experience.

I really can't think of anything better than Gold Dots at 124 gr. That is my EDC. Though I have used Federal HST 124g . . . and for some time Goild Dot was unobtainable so I would pick that up. Also vert well respected and reliable.

Whatever you decide - fire 500 rounds through YOUR pistol to make sure it feeds well. What is reliable in one model may catch a feed ramp in another or fail to cycle the slide reliably. I can say neither of those two EVER failed to feed and fire in my S&W Shield 9.
