Worst gun advice you’ve ever heard

I’ve heard some pretty questionable gun advice over the years, and a few lines still make me shake my head. What’s the worst piece of advice you’ve ever heard someone give about firearms?

Using Hydrogen Peroxide in a mix to clean a black powder firearm. Hydrogen Peroxide is an oxidizer. Lots of swell foam . . . but then rust.

"You don't need to clean a .22 LR". Yes. You do.

Yeah, peroxide rusting stuff is a pain you usually learn the hard way. Also that whole never clean a .22 thing is a total myth that wrecks guns
