Where's my traditional bp shooters ? If anyone wants to burn some powder in the central ny area let's get together and make some smoke

We're still here but I suspect in fewer numbers. Used to have a club 10 min from my house that did winter woods walks for traditional sidelock, round ball only. That faded out several years around the time that one of the main shooters passed away.

Been a moderator on muzzleloadingforum.com for around 22 years. I’m a flintlock rifle and smooth bore shooter, but still dig out my T/C New Englander percussion rifle and shotgun occasionally. Very light and handy.

Wrong time of year for a shoot. This is bow season!

It's early muzzleloader in my neck of the woods. Lots of hunting pressure but few deer. Still, there's worse ways to spend my time.

I have a nice place for a woods walk if your ever interested, its our land with lots of trails

The club still has the setup, but I guess not enough interested shooter
Or, possibly not enough interested to coordinate and do the work for the shoot.
