I thought it would be great to have a spot to share our adventures with our furry friends—whether they're loyal hunting companions, couch potatoes, or those charming pups that find a way to make napping seem like an extreme sport.

We have a seven year old male Airedale terrier and an 11 month old female standard Poodle. The poodle is 2X faster than the Airedale and definately more obedient. A real Velcro dog. She got her AKC Good Citizen and novice trick dog ratings at 9 months. Not bad. Not any smarter . . . but the Airedale is bull-headed and not as willing to obey. The poodle is showing possibilities as a soft-mouthed retriever. The Airedale . . . loves to hunt and catch but not so happy to release undestroyed. But that is kind of his job.
